Attorney Kelly L. Fayer receives 2014 pro bono award from Florida Rural Legal Services

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Nov. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Attorney Kelly L. Fayer received the 2014 One Award from Florida Rural Legal Services for multiple and outstanding pro bono legal services in 2013. In her most challenging case, Ms. Fayer provided guardianship assistance that kept four children together in the loving home of a family member after the tragic loss of their mother.

Ms. Fayer’s community involvement includes member of the Executive Council of the Lee County Bar Association where she will serve as President in 2017, service on the Communications Committee of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, past President of the Lee County Association of Women Lawyers, past President of the Estate Planning Council of Lee County, member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, board member for Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida, and as a barrister in the Calusa American Inn of Court.

Ms. Fayer grew up in Southwest Florida and attended Florida State University, graduating magna cum laude. She graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1997 and practiced on the East coast before returning to Lee County to establish a private law practice, concentrating on Medicaid services, estate planning and family law.
