Local Business Celebrates 40 Years of Serving Milwaukee’s East Side

MILWAUKEE - Nov. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- This year, Fazio Automotive celebrates 40 years of service by debuting a new website, while reflecting on their history as one of Milwaukee’s few remaining local repair shops. Fazio Automotive has been a mainstay on Milwaukee’s East Side neighborhood since the grand opening in 1974.

Known for their speedy and reliable service, the automotive repair shop looks back on how it has grown up along side the neighborhood. Starting as a humble two-bay repair shop and gas station, the shop has transformed over the years into a full service automotive repair facility capable of virtually any kind of repair. The look of the shop has also come to reflect the creative and vibrant spirit of the neighborhood, as the back and side of the shop are decorated with a racing inspired mural, painted by a local artist. “I love this neighborhood and the look of the shop really shows that off,” said owner Jim Fazio.

Their longevity is attributed to the hard work and dedication of the original owner, James Fazio. His work ethic lives on through his son and current owner Jim Fazio. “I remember my dad working 14 hour days during the remodeling,” said Fazio. “He would stay open for business and fix cars under a tent and still find time to help with the remodeling.”

Fazio and his staff are taking a look back at the history of Fazio Automotive and are rededicating themselves to the speedy, honest, and reliable service that allowed Fazio Automotive to make it through 40 years of business. “We want to be as modern as possible, using the latest equipment,” said Fazio. “Our goal is to continue the hard work that made Fazio’s what it is today.” Fazio Automotive will be bringing back some of their most popular auto repair specials in addition to their new website and email newsletters.
