Fall Festival & Food Drive at The Marina at Lake San Marcos Makes a Positive Impact on Our Community

SAN MARCOS, Calif. - Nov. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Lake San Marcos, CA – November 19, 2014 – The Marina at Lake San Marcos is hosting a Fall Festival & Food Drive in partnership with North County’s Food Bank, who provides food to over 18,000 people they help serve each month. Join them for a fun filled day at The Marina on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 9am to 3pm at 1035 La Bonita Drive, Lake San Marcos, CA 92078.

The Marina at Lake San Marcos will be offering refreshments, giveaways, a sneak peek of upcoming events, and water sports demonstrations with free paddle craft rentals. Suggested donations for the food drive are: frozen turkey, canned vegetables and gravy, cranberry sauce, potatoes and yams, dinner rolls, and stuffing mix. There are two ways to donate. You may drop off food drive donations at The Marina Docks between 9am – 3pm, or leave your donations on your dock between 12pm – 2pm (volunteers will collect and leave a voucher for future rental).
