Taste of Thanksgiving Aims to Feed Over 200 People on Thanksgiving Day in DC

WASHINGTON - Nov. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- The 3rd annual "Taste of Thanksgiving" will be held Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Franklin Square Park. This year, Taste of Thanksgiving will provide those that are less fortunate with a full course traditional Thanksgiving dinner including turkey, macaroni and cheese, string beans, dinner rolls and more.

Last year, the Taste of Thanksgiving team were proud to serve over 100 men, women and kids. With joint efforts and random acts of kindness, Taste of Thanksgiving will serve and make a difference for even more people this holiday season .Contributions can be made in the form of monetary donations and/or volunteers willing to assist with the preparation of the meals and the distribution of them the day of the event.  Taste of Thanksgiving is soliciting support from individual contributors, corporate sponsors, community supporters, churches, schools, etc.

The founders of Taste of Thanksgiving came together to fulfill a common goal – giving back. After feeding the homeless on Thanksgiving for three consecutive years, that common goal has become a commitment.
