Holiday Events at The Chattanoogan hotel

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Nov. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at Chattanooga’s only full-service AAA Four Diamond hotel.  The Chattanoogan (http://www.chattanooganhotel.com) is offering a host of overnight packages, family-friendly holiday events and seasonal activities from Thanksgiving until New Year’s Day.

         Visitors who would like to enjoy the festivities and stay at the upscale hotel have several package options, including The Enchanted Garden of Lights Package and A Christmas Story Theater Package.  The Enchanted Garden of Lights Package includes tickets to one of the Southeast’s top holiday attractions, Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights; deluxe overnight accommodations; breakfast in the hotel’s Broad Street Grille; and service charges.  The package price starts at $199 and is available from November 21 – January 3, 2015.

         A Christmas Story Theater Package gives guests a unique opportunity to enjoy a live performance of one of the most beloved holiday classics, “A Christmas Story.” The production will take place at The Chattanooga Theatre Centre (http://www.theatrecentre.com/) weekends in December.  The package includes deluxe overnight accommodations; two tickets to “A Christmas Story”; breakfast at the hotel’s Broad Street Grille; and service charges.  The package is available on Friday and Saturday nights from December 5 - 20.  Rates start at $199.

         On Thursday, November 27, enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends at The Chattanoogan’s Thanksgiving Feast.  The incredible meal will be served in the hotel’s ballroom from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.  Executive Chef Adam Roe and his talented culinary team will be preparing a delicious offering of dozens of innovative and traditional dishes, such as buttermilk fried turkey and bourbon and cider brined fresh ham.  The meal is $37.95 for adults, $18.95 for children 6–12, and free for little ones who are under six.  Reservations are strongly encouraged.

         On Saturday, November 29, children of all ages will be delighted at the hotel’s Breakfast with Santa.  Little ones will have the opportunity to share their holiday wishes with everyone’s favorite man in the red suit while enjoying a delicious breakfast and carolers performing holiday tunes.  Breakfast will include an assortment of freshly baked pastries, muffins, scones, hash brown casserole, applewood smoked bacon and French toast. The event takes place from 9 – 11 a.m., and tickets are $21.95 for adults, $10.95 for children between the ages of six and 12, and children under six are free. Reservations are required.  Santa will also be making regular appearances at The Chattanoogan’s Sunday Champagne Brunch each week, starting November 30, before Christmas.

         A new tradition for the season kicks off on Sunday, November 30, with weekend carolers serenading guests with delightful holiday music performed in the lobby of the hotel.  The carolers, a variety of different local musicians, will perform on Saturdays leading up to Christmas from 3 – 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 – 4 p.m.  A hot chocolate bar with delicious warm beverages will be set up in the lobby.  There will also be gingerbread cookies for all to enjoy and cookie decorating.  The public is invited to attend.  There is no fee to attend the event, but there is a small charge for food and beverage offerings.

         On Thursday, December 25, join family and friends at The Chattanoogan’s Christmas Day Dinner.  This year’s event will be held in the ballroom, and will include an incredible assortment of delicious dishes, such as roasted garlic Dijon prime rib of beef, herb rubbed pork steamship and roasted baby potatoes. The gourmet meal will be served from noon until 5 p.m. on Christmas Day. Dinner is $37.95 for adults, $18.95 for children 6–12, and free for little ones who are under six.  Reservations are strongly encouraged.

         On Wednesday, December 31, ring in the New Year at The Chattanoogan.  Chefs will be preparing a mouthwatering four-course dinner (with options for each course) served at Broad Street Grille.  In addition, there will be live music and a champagne toast at The Foundry, cocktails around the outdoor fire pit and an overnight package for guests who prefer to take the elevator home.  The New Year’s Eve Dinner will be served rom 5 to 10 p.m. and is $125 per couple.  Reservations are encouraged.

         On New Year’s Day, January 1, guests may start the New Year with a delicious Champagne Brunch at Broad Street Grille that includes traditional Southern fare, such as black-eyed peas and greens, along with other delicious brunch items.  The New Year’s Day Brunch is served from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and is $24.95 for adults, $13.95 for children, and complimentary for children six and under.

         Throughout the holidays, The Chattanoogan’s culinary team will be preparing seasonal holiday enhancements for guests and visitors, including Winter Pear Cocktails, Sticky Toffee Pudding Eggnog, Gingerbread Latte and Peppermint Hot White Cocoa.
