2nd Edition Sojourn to Honduras Sojourn to Healing Asks Alkaline or Organic, Does It Matter?

Pathologist and Nutritionist Dr. Sebi Answers With A Resounding Yes

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Nov. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Newly released book Sojourn to Honduras Sojourn to Healing: Why An Herbalist’s View Matters More Today Than Ever Before raises the “alkaline or organic” question in the midst of consumers’ exclusive accolades for organic food.  But according to Dr. Sebi, a pathologist and herbal medicine specialist for more than 35 years, and the main subject of the book, knowing the difference between alkaline and organic is an urgent matter of good health and disease.
“Any grain that is made—corn, wheat, rice—these things are starch.  Starch is not a food.  Starch is a chemical,” Dr. Sebi said in an interview at his healing center Usha Village, in Honduras, Central America.  The revised, 2nd edition of Sojourn to Honduras Sojourn to Healing offers a view of alkaline food and natural healing experienced by Dr. Sebi, a man who knows firsthand the difference between alkaline and acid substances, including food labeled organic.
“Let us understand, was the corn really nourishing our body?  The answer is no.  It was stimulating our body, not nourishing,” Dr. Sebi said in 2005, when he welcomed the book’s author Beverly Oliver to Usha Village to share health advice, anecdotes about the food and health connection and his personal and professional journey with alternative healing and medicine.
Oliver released Sojourn to Honduras Sojourn to Healing in eBook format and through a new print distributor CreateSpace.com http://www.createspace.com/5074819 to address not only U.S. readers’ interest in Dr. Sebi’s knowledge of food and health, but the interests of international audiences as well, including Africans living in Great Britain.
