Daneen Wilburn "Amazing Grace" singer Tony Gwynn Tribute in Concert The Spirit of Christmas Concert

SAN DIEGO - Nov. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- When the San Diego Padres needed a vocalist for the Memorial Tribute for baseball Hall of Fame legend, Tony Gwynn, "Mr. Padre" they called Daneen Wilburn.  Daneen sang Amazing Grace before 23,000 fans, a national television audience, and special guests that included, Joe Torre, Reggie Jackson, and Steve Garvey.  Her voice rang throughout Petco Park, and San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter.  It was an emotional night for the whole city.  San Diego’s own, Daneen Wilburn, represented the city in such a way, the mornings front-page headline read “Amazing Grace.”

Now, Daneen returns to 98 bottles Backroom, for her annual Christmas concert, and the scene of her last three, SOLD OUT, shows.  This year’s show will be filled with your favorite holiday songs spirited with jazz and gospel music plus a few surprises all backed by award winning group of musicians.  She is excited to be back, and ready to celebrate “The Spirit of Christmas” with all of you.
