A New Magical Family Lands in ATL

ATLANTA - Nov. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- The Lockhavens, a hilarious half hour sitcom set in Atlanta, is currently airing on People TV Comcast 24 Atlanta every Wednesday at 11:00 PM EST. Written, directed and starring veteran actor and choreographer, Dwayne Chattman, the sitcom follows the comic adventures of Senzo Lockhaven, a warlock from a prominent family of sorcerers in the 6^th dimension. A sensitive guy with a strong will to enact change, Senzo has always had compassion for mortals. When he decides to leave home to live on Earth, he stirs up quite a commotion with the powers that be, and his family can’t stay away. Now a resident of Atlanta, Senzo’s life is anything but ordinary after he lands a job as a social worker. Coupled with his family’s extraordinary antics to get him back home, his struggles on the job, and the diverse lineup of characters, you will agree that The Lockhavens is unlike anything you’ve ever seen on television before.

The Lockhavens is a witty, ground-breaking sitcom combining classic television comedy, drama and realistic elements. The cast is comprised of seasoned actors, such as S.D. Harper aka Maia (Strong Medicine, Truth Hall), Dwayne Chattman (FAME: The Hit Musical, Exorcism, Frank TV, Noah’s Arc), Moses J. Moseley (The Originals, Hunger Games), John Schmedes (Passing, Hamlet & Hutch, Devious Maids), and Atlanta’s triple threat, Mimi Johnsondotnet; as well as talented newcomers including 15 year-old Caliph Riley, Love McNill, and Georgia Hutt Mills. The show features high fashion couture designed by veteran designer L'Amour Ameer whose credits include Ebony Fashion Fair.
