By: Dukes FoundationCorporation Atlanta, GA. 11/14/ Horace Dukes, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of The Dukes Foundation was honored with The William Jefferson Jackson Award in the company of distinguished leaders including Turner Construction’ In addition to the honor conferred on the Foundation’s Founder, The Dukes Foundation was recognized withOutstanding Community Service Development Award On October 22, 2014 by WELLS FARGO BANK for phenomenal work in community development, education, human service, culture and civic projects. THE DUKES FOUNDATION currently serves Mentees in Middle and High School in the City of Atlanta, DeKalb and Clayton Counties. 28 Mentees are also enrolled in over 10 Colleges and Universities. The Youth Mentoring Program has increased the number of young men going to College especially underserved youth from urban minority areas. Progress for each Mentee is measured through an evidenced-based mechanism.
