Lifestyles Holiday Store Spreads the Joy of the Season

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Nov. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- The talented artisans of Lifestyles for the Disabled have been very busy creating warm winter wear, holiday jewelry and beautiful crafts to fill the shelves of the annual Lifestyles Holiday Store.
On November 12, the shop returns to Coral Island Shopping Plaza at 1650 Richmond Ave. near Victory Blvd. for its fifth year.  The storefront will be facing Richmond Avenue, next to Dunkin Donuts.

The Lifestyles Holiday Store will be open November 12th - 26th, Monday through Friday 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  December 1st - 22nd, the store will be open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 3 pm. A special visit from Santa Clause is expected on December 13.

The shop will feature holiday wreaths, warm knitted hats, scarves, mittens, bracelets, comfy pillows, wreaths and woodcrafts to decorate your home and share with your loved-ones.  You also will not want to miss their new signature Staten Island logo tee shirts and hoodies.

All crafts are created by adults with developmental disabilities participating in the Lifestyles’ arts and crafts, woodshop, greenhouse and jewelry programs. TeeStyles Embroidery and Screen Printing, a subsidiary of Lifestyles, will also be taking orders for monogrammed Christmas stockings, hats, scarves, shower wraps, blankets and more.
