Free Business Legal Clinic in Boston

BOSTON - Nov. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- The Asian American Civic Association (AACA) is pleased to announce the launch of Advancing Entrepreneurship Business Legal Clinic. This exciting opportunity will provide confidential legal consultation provided by Ropes & Gray, a premier Boston Law firm, to established and new business owners and employers of immigrant and low income communities, free of charge!

The debut Advancing Entrepreneurship Business Legal Clinic will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at AACA, 87 Tyler Street 5^th floor, Boston, MA 02111.

This new partnership with the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and Economic Justice is geared toward encouraging economic development through one-on-one 30 minute consultations about your business’s legal questions that otherwise may be too expensive to obtain. Topics include:

- Starting a business or running an existing business
- Liabilities and formation considerations of different forms of entities, such as S-Corporations and Limited Liability Companies
- Tax implications and possible deductions or credits that may be available to your business
-Overview of specific terms and conditions that ought to be included in your contracts with suppliers and/or vendors.
- Lease terms and conditions
- Zoning laws
- Employment considerations
- Intellectual property
