Follow on Google News | MOTERWRITER.COM reviews the latest hit novel – Harrington ManorAuthor Ronald M. James’s murder mystery novel is the perfect whodunit thriller to read this season
Harrington Manor is more than just a murder mystery thriller; it also delves into the inner sanctum of a wealthy 1920’s Southern Californian family. We get to see the various family members act and behave in a manner befitting the many classical dramas that the literature world is abound with. The mystery in this novel has been treated rather intelligently, relying on logic to solve the mystery rather than violence and titillation. The book also introduces an annoyingly brilliant detective in Sidney Snipes whose intuition and perception is capable of solving even the biggest unsolved puzzles. This book has all the same elements that you would want in a mystery novel, including an unexpected twist towards the end which is bound to catch you off-guard. In many ways, it is a realistic look at the things people do to each other and the things people do to themselves behind closed doors. “Writing has always been my first love and I’m glad that I have been given a chance to pursue my dream and in that process, share it with everyone.” Ronald told us when we interviewed him in connection with the book’s promotion. A spokesperson for Mythic Dragon Publishing, the publisher said that Ronald M. James comes across as a master storyteller and that readers are bound to enjoy the three dimensional detailing of each of his characters. Kevin Peter who reviewed the book for Moterwriter.com said thatHarrington Manor was a remarkable book with a distinctive style that the author can claim as his own. He added that the smooth interaction between the different scenes, dialogues and the well developed plot line makes this a reader friendly book. About the author: Ronald James was born during the great depression, and as a toddler watched WPA men build a new street, from his home’s big front window. His playmates were a red rider wagon, a small black satchel and rocks. By using his imagination he had conversations with mythical street workers that soon bloomed into fashioned fantasies by age four. He used cardboard boxes to create fun spaces for his neighborhood playmates to enjoy and he kept telling stories all through high school. In college he abandoned writing and studied architecture. James had a successful architectural career and retired; however he wanted to keep his creative juices fluent, so he returned to his childhood story telling days and joined a writers group. Like architecture, each day he couldn’t wait to create, finish, and start new stories—like this book, Harrington Manor. Discover Ronald M.
