Jennifer Smith Spoke at PMI Pittsburgh's Professional Development Day

Nov. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Pittsburgh, PA - Jennifer Smith, Founder and President of Growth Potential Consulting, spoke at the 2014 PMI Pittsburgh Chapter’s Professional Development Day on Wednesday, November 5, 2014.  This year’s theme was Driving Organizational Value through Effective Project Management. With over 85 attendees in her session, Jennifer encouraged attendees to shift their mindset during her talk titled 3 Secrets to Getting Projects Done on Time and Within Budget.  This interactive session allowed attendees to walk away with numerous techniques that they could put into practice instantly.

As one of the primary sponsors for this year's event, Jennifer was excited about being able to support the chapter in continuing the advancement of project managers. One attendee won a raffle which allows them to work directly with Jennifer as they participate in a Jumpstart a Leadership Challenge Coaching Program.  This one-on-one coaching program will be tailored to meet the specific needs of the winner so that they can improve their effectiveness.

The PMI Pittsburgh Chapter, founded in 1980, boasts over 1100 members, of which over 65% are certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs).
