Before joining, Griffin most recently served as the Dean of Admissions at Cornell, the VP of Enrollment for Bethany and Thomas More Colleges, and the Vice Provost for Enrollment and Student Affairs at St. Bonaventure University. According to David Mainiero, VP of InGenius Prep’s Undergraduate and Law School Divisions, “Angela adds another two decades of high-level admissions office experience to our teams' hundreds of years of collective experience. Her insights, as someone who has not only made tens of thousands of admissions decisions but also helped design the very processes by which those decisions were made, will tremendously benefit our students.”
Excited to continue working with students to reach their academic potential, Griffin was quoted as saying “counseling students in the admissions process is the main reason why I’ve been in higher education for so long. Assisting students in setting goals and achieving those goals is an incredibly rewarding experience.”
To Joel Butterly, co-founder and CEO, "Angela is the paragon of the expertise, commitment to improving access to higher education, and sincere compassion for her students which we seek to cultivate at InGenius. She embodies the core values of our team and of our business: providing the highest level of expertise, ensuring the greatest level of student service and value, and constantly working through our pro-bono and other efforts to increase accessibility to higher education."
When asked why she wanted to join InGenius Prep, Griffin answered, “InGenius Prep is sincere in its desire to help students by working with individuals who know the field of admissions and the complexities of the process. I continue to be impressed by the team’s level of professionalism and diversity of experiences.”
Griffin’s contribution to the InGenius Prep team and to their students is sure to be significant.
