Berge Mazda is a Sponsor of the 2014 Ironman Arizona Triathlon

GILBERT, Ariz. - Nov. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Berge Mazda, a Gilbert, AZ car dealership, is a proud member of the Arizona Valley Mazda Dealers association. This year, the association will be the official vehicle sponsor for the Ironman Arizona Triathlon. The iconic race will be held in Tempe on November 16, 2014. Funds raised by the racers will go towards benefiting a variety of charitable organizations.

The original Ironman triathlon was first held in Hawaii in the late 1970s. Combining swimming, running, and bicycling, the Ironman race has grown in popularity over the years and expanded all over the world. In 2005, the City of Tempe and the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community collaborated for the first Ironman Arizona.

Ironman Arizona has gained popularity for its urban location along with its flat and fast course and spectator-friendly environment. The race begins at the Tempe Town Lake, segues into a bike course in the Sonoran Desert, and concludes with a run that goes through Tempe Town Lake and Papago Park.

As the Vehicle Sponsor of the race, there will be a number of new 2015 Mazda cars on site in Tempe. Two 2015 Mazda CX-5 crossovers will be used as pace cars for the race. Racers and spectators alike will also be able to Ride and Drive in a new 2015 Mazda3, 2015 Mazda6, or a 2015 Mazda CX-5. A 2015 Mazda CX-9 crossover will also be on display.

There is also a special $500 offer available for people attending the race. Either by registering at the Ironman Mazda display or by taking one of the new models for a Ride and Drive, attendees can receive a promotion code. This will allow them to take an extra $500 off the price and can be combined with any other current rebates or customer cash.
