Chisanarobotto Baburukakiti "The Steampop Adventures" by Kurt Kohl: Mixed media paintings

HAMTRAMCK, Mich. - Nov. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- An art exhibit featuring several artists including Chisanarobotto Babaruikakiti's work will be on display on Friday November 7, 2014 at the Atomic Café Gallery in Hamtramck MI.

Kurt Kohl aka 'Chisanarobotto', who has won awards such as recognition from the Governor's office. He is a disabled artist who has a chronic pain condition and diabetes. Ideas for paintings are always showing up in Kurt's head. Even when he has difficulty sleeping he likes to draw. This art show represents the last 4 years of paintings: characters are anime and cartoon inspired meshed with technology onto recycled wood pieces.

Kurt has shown his art in 24 museums including: Lacma and SanlunYishu art and cultural center in Beijing China. His work was featured in VSA's 'Cool Views' Michigan tour 2007. Kurt also volunteers at The Art Cafe and Flintopia. The show will run until November 28th, 2014.
