Special Transportation for Special Kids

Help Families with Special Needs Children by Fulfilling their Transportation Needs for Any Occasion.


They are hoping to accomplish this goal with their indiegogo campaign.  If they are able to reach their goal they will buy some buses that are specially equipped to transport fragile special needs kids to social events and on trips...something these kids NEVER get to do without proper transporation. Delicate Angels Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that was formed to assist families with disabled children by providing them with specialty transportation to and from their destinations.  We also facilitate fun activities for disabled children so that they too can enjoy their youth.  Our goal and our commitment is to improve the quality of life of children with disabilities, to give them a chance to participate in life.

Mission

The Mission at Delicate Angels Foundation is to be able to offer special needs children the same experiences that other children get to have. The things that most of us take for granted, like going to the zoo and seeing the animals, or having the cold breeze in our face from the lake while at the beach. Even being able to go and visit family or friends when they want to. Many families that have special needs children are unable to take their children to do these type of events because they don't have, or cant afford the proper transportation needed to transport their child. Our goal is to be able to purchase handicap buses (shuttle bus style) to be able to plan and transport these wonderful children and a family member to such a place or event.

THEY NEED YOUR HELP
They need to purchase or lease a handicap bus (shuttle bus style) to start our organization off.  We also need enough funds to hold our first recreational event for these beautiful children.

The Impact

The goal is to really enhance the lives of these families and their children by alleviating the stress of not being able to find the adequate transportation necessary to transport a child that is delicate.  Some of the children have certain conditions associated with their disabilities that makes it very difficult for their parents or guardians to transport without the proper equipment.  This makes getting out of the house a task.  Some of these children never get to go anywhere, except school, because their parents have to rely on public transportation to get them to and from ANYWHERE.  These Delicate Angels are restricted to home life because of the difficulties associated with moving them around.
