Hoffman’s mother, Mrs. Dortha Chuber co-owned and ran the very first Kentucky Fried Chicken in Statesville, North Carolina. Ann grew up helping her parents with their franchise. She returns home to the area quite often to visit her mother. It was during one of these visits sharing recipes that Our Mom’s Best® was born.  Mrs. Chuber enjoys lending support to Our Mom’s Best® by allowing her image to be used on the logo.
