Professor Sweet will speak on “Food and Climate” at the New Canaan Library on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. William Sweet is the author of Kicking the Carbon Habit: Global Warming and the Case for Renewable and Nuclear Energy, which was published in June 2006. He is now working on a book about the diplomacy of climate change. Sweet has been a blogger for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Spectrum web site and the Foreign Policy Association’ He holds a master’s degree in Public Policy and International Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago. This event is free and open to the public. The program will begin at 7:00 pm in the Lamb Room. The New Canaan Library is a co-sponsor of the program.
