PRIDE Museum presents Kwanzaa Village Youth Expo, A Festive Cultural Community Celebration

DUBLIN, Calif. - Nov. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- PRIDE Museum presents Kwanzaa Village Youth Expo is a one day program which is free to the general public. It is a wonderful opportunity to provide youth with a positive and enlightening learning experience during the holiday season of Kwanzaa. The atmosphere of Kwanzaa Village is MAGICAL in the innovative decorations, EMPOWERING in the hands-on activities and MEMORABLE with the performances of the day. Youth are the main focus and corporate, civic and community volunteers from various walks of life assist in providing a fun and educational experience for youth and people of all ages, races and cultures.

Performance groups in association with the San Jose Multicultural Artists Guild; TABIA and AKOMA ARTS, will deliver the Kwanzaa Libation Ceremony, African Drumming, Dancing, Songs, Storytelling, Dogon Mask Making and more themed entertainment and Kwanzaa education.

PRIDE Museum is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area, inspiring a new generation of youth to explore careers in technology and science. PRIDE Museum delivers exposure to youth (K-12) on technology and science education with a focus on the contributions of African American innovators to Silicon Valley.

PRIDE Museum Learning Programs are FREE to youth. Community partnerships with museums, planetariums, space centers, corporations, laboratories, universities, libraries, civic organizations, volunteer professionals, etc., provide the group with personal tours and special events to continuously explore the varied and extensive educational services available from their public and private venues.
