Denver Christkindl Market announces America It’s Time as its presenting sponsor

DENVER - Oct. 31, 2014 - PRLog -- DENVER October 30, 2014 – One of Denver’s most treasured events, the Denver Christkindl Market (http://www.denverchristkindlmarket.com), presented by America It’s Time (https://www.americaitstime.com/what-is-america-its-time/) (AIT), will take place from Nov. 21 to Dec. 23, 2014 – adding three days to the schedule due to its popularity.

Each year, the holiday market hosted by the Colorado Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce  (GACC-CO) features the sights, sounds and tastes of Germany. The 2014 event, now in its 14^th year, is held at Denver’s Skyline Park along the 16^th Street Mall. Each day, the market presents cultural songs, music, dancing and appearances by Germany’s  traditional German Christkindl (http://www.denverchristkindlmarket.com/christkind/) (Christ angel).

“We are thrilled to have AIT as a partner for our 14^th year celebrating culture and commerce in Colorado,” said Joshua Seeberg, executive director of GACC-CO. “In addition to the AIT member businesses, our chamber members Holland & Hart, Intermountain STIHL^® and the Sonnenalp Hotel are taking a leading role as sponsors of the Christkindl Market.”

Here are a few highlights of the event:

·      The grand opening ceremony will take place 4:30 the evening of Saturday, Nov. 22. The market’s Christkindl will appear and give the traditional prologue followed by live music and dancing until close at 9pm.

·      St. Nickolaus will appear at the market on both Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6 (before/during/after) the Parade of Lights.

·      Parade of Lights will begin with a Gluehwein (“glow wine” roughly translated) or hot chocolate at 8pm on Friday Dec. 5

·      A 7-foot advent calendar with 23 days of gifts to raffle off will feature surprises for market visitor. Sponsored by the Sonnenalp Hotel, the array of gifts includes free dinners, theater and comedy club tickets, and much more.
