The Alzheimer’s Resource Council Hosting Fundraiser

PALM COAST, Fla. - Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- The Alzheimer’s Resource Council is pleased to be hosting a fundraiser entitled “An Event to Remember” on November 8, 2014.

“The funds raised through this event help provide care for patients and directs resources back into the community by creating support groups, generating workshops, with the future goal of assisting caregivers with respite care,” he added.

The evening will begin at 6 pm at Halifax Plantation, 3400 Clubhouse Drive, Ormond Beach. Tickets are $50 per person and include a sit down dinner.  There will be featured entertainment from the vibrant Toots Lorraine & The Traffic, a classic blues band and laughs provided by the high energy and quick witted comic Tim Pulnik, as seen on the television series Burn Notice and The Glades.  A silent auction, raffle and prizes will also be awarded.

The Alzheimer’s Resource Council of Flagler has been serving individuals struggling with the effects of memory disorders and their caregivers since 2008. The Resource Council is a registered non-profit organization and our group’s mission is to provide programs and services that benefit and assist friends and family in their care giving journey. In Flagler County we provide support groups, educational workshops, and memory screenings and maintain a resource library specific to the topic of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
