Stand With Beck: Women's Rights

Our Mothers, Grandmothers and Aunts fought hard for our rights, and I will continue to fight hard!  Especially for our right to choose what is best for own bodies, and for pay equality.  I know what it feels like to not make as much as my male counterpart doing the exact same job.  We’ve come a long way, and we’re not going back.

My male competitors for this seat (job) – Jeffrey and Micah resigned their jobs to run full-time, which allows them to take their salary out of donations.  Gerald Blias is working but not running an aggressive campaign, and Don Beyer has about 200 people working for him.  The female (me) is running an aggressive campaign, getting an on-line Master’s degree from George Mason, working as an equity analyst and taking care of a wonderful senior in her struggles with dementia.  But, there isn’t a woman out there who doesn’t know what I’m talking about – we are used to multi-tasking and making sure we do a great job!
