Google for Work Planner Joins World Strategy Week

Sean D'Souza, head of planning for Google for Work, will share his insights on new approaches to strategy that may be needed as workplace technology and workforce changes create new challenges for business and nonprofits alike.

PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Sean D'Souza, head of planning for Google for Work, joins the Future of Strategy panel  which airs Friday, November 7 from 9 - 10:30 am Pacific. Other panelists include Ken Berger, of Charity Navigator and Jeff De Cagna, of Principled Innovation.

The panelists will focus their crystal balls on possible changes ahead that may require new approaches to strategic planning and management. Where are these changes heading and what do theymean for company, non-profit and government leaders responsible for developing and implementing strategies that lead to greater success?

Are we facing the end of management by objectives, participative leadership, SWOT analyses, and systems thinking, for example? What new tools and business models will be required in the next three to five years as technology innovation and distributed workforces become the norm?

In his role at Google for Work, D'Souza will inject his insights about how work has changed, along with the tools people use to do that work. Gerber in his role as CEO of Charity Navigator, America's largest independent charity evaluator, will share ideas about how businesses and individuals can work with charities to overcome persistent challenges. De Cagna, a chief strategist and association executive, will share ideas on how association boards, CEOs and C-Suite executives can build their organizations to thrive in an uncertain future.

This cadre of strategy experts winds up a week-long global forum on daily webinars about strategy - its current state, leadership roles, execution challenges, social media and technology impacts, and how all these may affect the future of strategy.
