Ashley Carter Professional Softball Player Wears Vinci

RICHMOND, Va. - Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Richmond, VA, September 2, 2014 – Vinci Co., LLC, is proud to welcome our second professional softball player to the company; Ashley Carter.  From 2010-2013, Carter played collegiately for Cal State Fullerton before turning professional in June for the Pennsylvania Rebellion and is currently an assistant softball coach for Slippery Rock University.

Vinci is a family-owned and operated sports equipment company dedicated to quality. A number of minor and major-league baseball players, and now our second professional softball player use Vinci equipment. Makers of baseball gloves, softball gloves, sunglasses, batting gloves and batpacks.

Started all 56 games in centerfield during her senior year at Cal State, Carter averaged .259 with a team high 44 hits, 13 RBI’s and a team high 26 runs scored in a season. The speedster also led the team with 13 stolen bases in 2013

She became an All-Big West Conference First team selection outfielder in 2012 and up top of  the university in offensive categories such as hits with 55, batting average of .325, runs scored 27, on-base percentage .354, doubles 4, and triples 4.  2011 All Big West Honorable mention.

In 2012, Carter played outfield for the squad ( Cal A’s) that won the Women’s Elite Fastpitch Canadian Cup in the Women’s Elite division defeating national teams like Great Britain and The Chinese Taipei. In 2013 played in the tournament once again but in the Women’s International bracket, did not go on to win but still defeated teams such as Japan, Australia and Venezuela.

She also had a short career in Mexico for Team Ruthless, which was coached by former USA Olympian Crystl Bustos; where they won the tournament defeating national teams Mexico and Cuba.

Finishes her Titan career ranked fourth in all-time triples (9) and eighth in fielding percentage (.988) only committing 3 errors in 4 seasons...had the fourth most sacrifice bunts in the Big West during the 2012-13 season with 11.
