1st Annual East Africa Education Conference

NAIROBI, Kenya - Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- ANNOUNCING the 1^ST ANNUAL EAST AFRICA EDUCATION          CONFERENCE

Nairobi: We are pleased to announce the 1st East Africa Education Conference, a collaborative, inclusive, region -wide initiative involving educators, consultants, service providers and organizations at all levels.

Held under a timely theme ‘Educate to Influence the Future’ EAEF will challenge participants to view education in new ways. Africa as whole has for years grappled with the issues of quantity and quality of education at all levels with issues becoming more complex as one moves from secondary and tertiary levels.

Prof. Jacob Thuranira Kaimenyi  BDS. , MDS.  ,Ph.D. ,Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Education, Science &Technology- Kenya will inaugurate this event which will also feature leading government officials from the region.

“Our objective as organizers is to create a region’s apex forum that is designed to significantly increase opportunities for connecting all private and public stakeholders in the education system as a strategy for strengthening the capacity of education institutions in the region.  We are inviting on all stakeholders to support this initiative” said Naomi Njoroge, MD, Aidem Business Solutions speaking ahead of the conference.

The program will include plenary sessions, expert presentations, thematic grouped presentations and workshops. More relaxed sessions including café sessions and posters have been developed to foster more interaction between attendees. For educators around the region having a source of ideas, information and advice is crucial. The EAEF 2014 has been developed to provide exactly this, offering a rich programme of continuing professional development
