SPI Study Abroad Announces Exciting Cultural Excursions for Italian Language Immersion Program

AUSTIN, Texas - Oct. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Austin, Texas (October 28, 2014) – SPI Study Abroad, a leading program provider of language immersion and global leadership programs for high school students, has announced exciting cultural excursions for their 2015 summer program in Siena, Italy.

As part of the Siena program, students will have the chance to explore some of Italy’s most famed and historic locations, including Rome, Florence, and Orvieto. These travel excursions will give students an in-depth look at the rich culture, beautiful art, and amazing cuisine that shape Italy’s worldly significance.

In addition, SPI Siena students will experience the Palio di Siena as part of their program – the Palio is a historic horseback race and festival that takes place over the course of four days in the town. By taking part in this celebrated event, students are able to forge a truly authentic connection with Siena’s heritage and wholly immerse themselves in Italian culture.

Siena itself is an absolutely breathtaking town in the heart of scenic Tuscany, and is renowned for its many medieval treasures and beauty.
