Oceanfront condos continue to rise in price as inventory levels continue to fall. I have watched oceanfront condos from Boca Raton to Jupiter continue to rise dramatically in price over the past year. With inventory levels at a low I decided to look for other areas in search of affordable oceanfront condos. After watching condos rise nearly 25% in just the past year and the lack of luxury condos fall I decided we had to offer buyers other options as many were getting priced out of the oceanfront market. No longer are buyers looking for 1,100 sq. ft condos which many older buildings are but they want space and upwards of 2,000 sq. ft and larger. We decided to go to Hutchinson Island and what I found was less expensive condo options but still a limited inventory of oceanfront condos. I did find Ocean Village in Fort Pierce a gated oceanfront community of condos, homes and villas. With prices ranging from the $70's to $400,000for direct oceanfront condos. The Oceanhouse at SouthPointe is one condo I found. Built in 2003 this 4 story condo has 3 buildings with just 24 units in each building. 2 bedroom 2 bath condos just under 1,400 sq. ft with garage parking, and a private pool starting at just over $300,000. The community of Ocean Village is a gated oceanfront community with 3,000 ft of private beach, golf, tennis and on -site restaurant as well as Tiki Bar at the main community pool.  This condo in Jupiter or Boca Raton would be $500,000 and up. Yes a dramatic difference and condo fees just over $600/month. Beside Oceanhouse we  have single family homes starting at just $300,000. All built after 2000. Golf villas starting at $200,000 gives you 2bd/2 ba with one car garage. This would be $300,000 in Jupiter and be 30 years old instead of 10 years old.
