Candace Duff Appointed President of Federal Bar Association South Florida Chapter

MIAMI - Oct. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Candace R. Duff, Esq. was appointed to serve as President of the Federal Bar Association South Florida Chapter for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.  She has served as a member of the board of directors of the association since 2012, chairing the organization’s Publications Committee and serving as co-Chair of the Mindfulness in Law Joint Task Force of the Dade County Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association South Florida Chapter.

Ms. Duff is the principal of Duff Law & Mediation, PLLC (http://www.dufflawandmediation.com) - a full service alternative dispute resolution firm that provides mediation, arbitration, dispute neutral and settlement counsel services.  Ms. Duff, a commercial litigator and Florida Bar Board certified construction lawyer with more than twenty years of experience practicing in state and federal courts, is a Florida Supreme Court certified Civil Circuit, Appellate and Family Law mediator and a Supreme Court qualified arbitrator who specializes in construction, commercial, insurance, federal, bankruptcy, tort, employment and real property disputes.  She is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s roster of neutrals and a federal mediator appearing on the mediator rosters of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of Florida.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
