Larry Ponemon Speaking at JLCW Symposium on November 6th

New York City, NY – October 24, 2014 -- The Journal of Law and Cyber Warfare is honored to announce that the Chairman and Founder of the Ponemon Institute, Dr. Larry Ponemon will be speaking at the Symposium on Cyber Security on November 6, at John Jay College in NYC.  The Ponemon Institute is a research “think tank” dedicated to advancing privacy and data protection practices.  Dr. Ponemon is considered a pioneer in privacy auditing and the Responsible Information Management or RIM framework.

He was appointed to the Advisory Committee for Online Access & Security for the United States Federal Trade Commission and serves as Chairman of the Government Policy Advisory Committee and Co-Chair of the Internet Task Force for the Council of American Survey and Research Organizations (CASRO).  Dr. Ponemon is an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, serving as founding member of the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) Advisory Board.  His knowledge of privacy auditing and data protection practices will provide significant insight at our conference.  To learn about our other world-class speakers and register, please visit conference.jlcw.org.
