Follow on Google News | Santa Claus Is Coming to K-Town's Tinsel & TreasuresThe Junior League of Knoxville is putting on their highly anticipated Tinsel & Treasures event at the Knoxville Convention Center. And a very important visitor will be attending their event and helping this important fundraiser.
And he is looking forward to seeing your children at the Knoxville Convention Center on November 7 – 9th at the Tinsel & Treasures event hosted by the Junior League of Knoxville. Joe Moore (Santa's pseudonym) wrote the three novels of his trilogy, with the second (Faith, Hope & Reindeer) coming to the big screen, and the third (Glaciers Melt & Mountains Smoke) just released this year. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be meeting families, signing books and taking pictures all three days. Santa will listen to wishes and talking with all that wish to visit him. A picture purchase is not required to visit Santa, although families will find this an exceptional deal, especially with a true celebrity and author for a nominal cost. The Moores donate a portion of all proceeds to the Junior League of Knoxville. Santa said, “This League has always put children and families first, and they have done tremendous work dating back more than 200 years nationally and for generations here in Knoxville. It is an honor and pleasure to work with them on this important fundraising event.” Along with the photos, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be selling and autographing their works, including a new series of children's books for early readers that has just released its first two books. Moore says they make the perfect holiday present, as they will put the meanest Scrooge into a joyful Christmas spirit. The new Santa's Elf Series© will be a series of 25 elves each having his or her own book written in rhyme for early readers (age 3-8). Each imaginative book is fully illustrated by Mary Moore, Joe's wife and Mrs. Claus. They will be introducing the first two inaugural books in the series, Jamie Hardrock, Chief Mining Elf and Shelley Wrapitup, Master Design Elf that will be available at the show. The Moore's will be selling and autographing their works, which make the perfect holiday presents whether 2 or 92. "I am extremely excited to be participating with this wonderful charitable organization, and look forward to meeting many wonderful families, seeing my readers and meeting new ones," said Mary Moore. Santa said he will be easy to spot, “Just look for a lot of red!” More about Santa and Mrs. Claus can be found at http://thenorthpolepress.com/ End
