BOSTON - Nov. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Thirteen-year-old Boston native Christian Goodwin, recipient of a "Best Young Actor" award at the 2013 CineRockom Film Festival in Los Angeles for his role in the indie-award-winning feature film "Milwood", makes his primetime network series debut on Law & Order: SVU, during the show's highly anticipated cross-over episode with Chicago PD on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.

"Working in New York City on the set of SVU was an amazing experience, a dream come true. I only hope to earn more opportunities as I continue to learn the craft of acting."

Goodwin got his start in his school's theater program at a young age, and soon began landing roles in student films produced by local universities. In 2012, he landed his first substantial role as the lead actor in the feature length, Boston-produced drama, "Milwood".

"The entire process of making 'Milwood' was incredible, and after that experience, I knew I wanted to pursue a career as a professional actor."

Goodwin is represented by Susan Wright at Ann Wright Representative in New York City, and Matt Prater at Dedicated Talent Management in Los Angeles.

Law & Order: SVU (season 16, episode 7) is scheduled to air on Wednseday, November 12th at 9pm (EST) on NBC.
