Governor Nikki Haley Proclaims 4th Annual South Carolina Week for the Animals Oct 25-Nov 2, 2014!

Animal shelters, non-profit organizations, and humane groups across the state will be hosting scores of special animal-related special events. Community leaders, students, and caring citizens across South Carolina join in to celebrate the animals!
 
CHARLESTON, S.C. - Oct. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Animal World USA is pleased to announce that Governor Nikki Haley has officially proclaimed the 4th Annual South Carolina Week for the Animals October 25-November 2, 2014!

Throughout the week, educational institutions, animal shelters, rescue groups, and humane organizations across the state will be hosting scores of exciting animal-related special events. Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens across South Carolina will be joining in together in exciting activities to celebrate and help animals.

Events will include Autumn adoption fairs, spay/neuter low cost events, shelter days, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, Special benefits for the animals, special adoption and spotlight on Equine Rescue of Aiken Saratoga Warhorse program for the soldiers through horse therapy, farm animals activities, SC Library Days, 5k's, therapy dogs visiting children's hospitals, ways to help marine animals, horse adoptions, special shelter reduced adoption fees, therapy dogs visiting hospitals and living-assisted homes.

Also to be included are a salute to our working K9's, spotlight on search and rescue dogs, special adoption fees for cats, educational programs at sanctuaries, and fun-filled festival days for families to come and enjoy food, music and the always amazing animals!
