RICHMOND, Va. - Oct. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Richmond’s native son Dean Fields has been very busy in his adopted home of Nashville TN and its starting to really payoff. His songs are being performed and recorded by the likes of country superstar Billy Currington, Lori McKenna, and indie rockers Diamond Carter.

This summer Nashville’s Lightning 100 radio picked Fields as the “Artist of the Week”  spinning his latest single “More Than I Deserve" in full rotation and headlining a packed show at their Friday Night Live concert series.

Then he hit the road to open for his heroes Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, and Alison Krauss at Buckleup Fest.

Fields returns home to Richmond this Friday, October 24th to perform at the Capital Ale Music Hall with a full band of some of Richmond’s best players: Trey Pollard, Wells Hanley, and Curtis Fye.

“I miss Richmond terribly so I’m excited to show everyone back home what I’ve been up to since packing up my wife and cats and moving to Nashville!”

With names like Billy Currington and Willie Nelson taking notice Dean Fields is certainly making a name for himself.  Richmond should be proud.

You can see him and say you knew him when on Friday Oct. 24 at Capital Ale Music Hall.
