New Webseries Shows Heroics Are For Everyone

MARIETTA, Ga. - Oct. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- HeadGames Entertainment's new webseries Suspension of Disbelief, which just completed principal photography, takes the classic RPG adventuring group and turns it on its head. In a world inhabited by mighty heroes on quests for gold, power and adventure, Suspension of Disbelief focuses on the lives of four women who are just trying to make a living in this crazy world.

  "We thought back to our gaming days." Said Brian Clements, creator of the show. "And wondered to ourselves why would anyone live here?"

 Monster attacks, constant peril, adventuring groups who were only concerned about loot or pursuing some impossible quest. The daily life of a fantasy gaming village. Farmers whose crops are destroyed in a magical disagreement or bands of rampaging monsters would have to turn somewhere else to make a living. The series follows the Salvagers, four women who follow the so-called “Heroes” of the town of Arbrontith, wait for them to die horribly and then scavenge the loot they leave behind before they resurrect.

A fun and snarky series, playing with fantasy tropes and asks the question: What really makes a hero?

  Although originally conceived as a mixed group of men and women the show changed, for the better, when it was decided to cast all women in the lead roles.

  "We didn't want to go into casting with preconceived notions about the characters." Said Ben Boardman, director. "We really just wanted the best actor for the role, and our cast came in and just blew us away."

  HeadGames has been so happy with the end result that a second season has already been ordered and is currently in pre-production alongside season one's post-production.
