Fusion Management Group Focuses on Volunteering

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Oct. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- A few people from the Fusion Management Group team assisted the Urban Community Outreach to feed that in need. The firm's Director of Operations and the organizations coordinator ensured that our itinerary kept the team busy.

"Our team helped with prepping food for the lunch and dinner service as well as aiding the chefs and staff with extra hands in the kitchen. We also cleaned up the eating area and prepared the table settings. In addition, we sorted through donations that were given to the organization." said by the Operations Manager in regards to their helping hands.

For the team of Fusion Management Group, we strive to stand out as leaders in our community and giving back is just one small part of how we accomplish this. We also appreciate the opportunity to network and aid with the little things to help within the community of Long Beach. The Urban Community Outreach is an important cause, the Operations Manager says, because they meet peoples' most fundamental needs.

"We have worked with the organization a few times the past couple of months and we have a blast every time. We have an obligation to give back by participating in community work and fundraising events. Fusion Management Group Supports Urban Community Outreach

The team members at Fusion Management Group aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and digging in to support the homeless and working poor. The mission of the Urban Community Outreach is very important to the region, as if offers the Drop-in-Center, which is a center for the neediest in the Long Beach area. They strive to provide a haven from the weather and the harsh conditions of the streets. They also offer a computer lab for access to the Internet, which helps them find work, write resumes, and search for family. Additional services include the Paperwork Preservation Project, which stores electronically important papers for the homeless, a visiting nurse, and urban camping supplies to help make life on the streets of Long Beach more tolerable.
