VisionQuest Wealth Management joins forces with Griggs Capital Management

RALEIGH, N.C. - Oct. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- VisionQuest Wealth Management (“VisionQuest”), a boutique wealth management firm out of Raleigh, North Carolina announced today the merger of Griggs Capital Management and VisionQuest.

VisionQuest’s founder, Stephen Peters, says he spent the last few months “wooing” Randall Griggs, founder of Charlotte-based Griggs Capital Management.  Griggs Capital Management has roughly $30 million in assets under management and similar to VisionQuest has had the responsibility and privilege to serve some visible and successful individuals, families, and institutions.

Peters says “we have the highest regard for Randall as he has built a terrific practice.  He has a well-earned reputation in Charlotte – a market that we wanted to expand to - and we admire how uncompromising he is at both caring and serving his clients.

At the age of 66, Randall is not thinking about retirement and has agreed to take on the position of Senior Vice President and will become a member of VisionQuest’s Investment Committee.  He explains “…as a prudent advisor and owner, I needed to be concerned about the future of my clients and I wanted to be certain that their financial lives, goals and needs would remain professionally handled if I was not in a position to serve them.  This merger accomplishes this for me and solves a problem any advisor my age is concerned about – succession planning. ”
