CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Oct. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- – Ron Corbett, Cedar Rapids Mayor and public speaker, will be in attendance at Waypoint Services tomorrow October 15th  as part of his continuing efforts to end domestic violence in the local community.

In recognition of his declared “Gentlemen’s Day”, Mayor Corbett will be meeting with the Waypoint Services staff regarding the community’s role in the stand, as he has been a prominent voice to raise awareness about the topic. He will also be visiting the children at Waypoint Services childcare center to take photographs.

Throughout the month, Waypoint Services have been educating the public about the effects of domestic violence, along with providing a plethora of services to individuals whom have experienced the surreal impacts of the issue. “Gentlemen’s Day” will be focused on Gentlemen and how they are key players in the efforts to end domestic violence.
