Headquartered in the United Kingdom, NWave's technologies and solutions enable deployment of the next-generation of smart networks that connect, devices, people and things. The market segments in which new business impact can be generated are many. From domestic and industrial utilities metering, to Smart Parking, remote monitoring and asset tracking, through to addressing challenges in precision and smart agriculture. NWave will be entering the U.S. market with a full suite of end-to-end solutions for multiple-market segments.
"NWave is thrilled to be expanding into the U.S. market,” said Jonathan Wiggin – CEO of NWave Technologies, Ltd. "Using our solutions, clients can address business challenges with a new solution and cost paradigm. Applications for our technology are only limited by the imagination. NWave is developing a strong global client portfolio and our solutions are easily deployed across platforms. We already connect thousands of devices globally, and our team is now ready to create value for U.S. businesses, industries and the public sector.”
With their own Research and Development labs in-house and product and services that can be integrated across market segments, NWave has the ability to deliver customized solutions for clients. In committing its new U.S. operations, NWave is increasing its executive staff to support client engagements, project deployments, market expansion and future product development assistance.
"North Texas has an incredible amount of potential for the deployment of new types of wireless telecommunications,"
The U.S. operation is busy recruiting and has secured the first of its full time employees Maria Smith-Brackenridge, Managing Director. The U.S. headquarters will be based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, initially targeting the Agriculture, Utility, Parking Management and Oil & Gas industries.
“I am thrilled to join the NWave team,” said Maria Smith-Brackenridge. “NWave solutions can have a real business and environmental impact. With NWave products, farmers can save 40% of water in smart crop irrigation, cities can increase their revenue by 20%-30% with Smart Parking and NWave solutions, such as our sensors, are easy to deploy with no maintenance.”
NWave first became interested in the Dallas/Fort Worth region after Matthew Bailey with NWave, gave the keynote speech at the launch of the DFW Excellerator April 2014. It became apparent that the region had an educated, high-tech workforce in the software and microprocessor space. In addition to the workforce, the presence of Fortune 100 companies such as Cisco, Samsung, Texas Instruments, and Silicon Labs, located in Texas engaged in software design, research and the manufacturing of products, could be strong partners for NWave as the company grows its presence in the U.S. market.
