She also advises nonprofit and tax-exempt clients in seeking and maintaining federal and state tax exemptions. “I’m very excited to begin this journey with Chamberlain Hrdlicka and to work with such well-regarded professional counterparts,” Vaughan previously was a manager in the national office of Ernst & Young, LLP. She has extensive experience counseling businesses regarding the tax consequences of transactions and negotiating tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, credit agreements and licensing agreements. After graduating from Duke University with a degree in political science in 2003, Vaughan went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2006.
