7th Annual Graduate Photography Exhibition at Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication

NEW DELHI - Oct. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication brings forward an entire new way of looking at things through their annual exhibition called  the Annual Graduate Photography Exhibition. It is a 6 day long festival which will feature an array of photographic works by students of Creative Photography course from the School of Arts (Batch 2013-14) in different genres ranging from documentary to conceptual to self-portraiture. It will also act as a platform for seasoned and aspiring photographers to share their views and exchange pointers.

The guest of Honour for this year’s exhibition will be Pablo Bartholomew, an award winning and independent photographer who was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2013. He is popularly known for his photograph which he took in the aftermath of the Bhopal Gas tragedy. He will inaugurate the exhibition and will also share his extensive photographic experience at 5pm. The institute will also hold talks and presentations on the following days:

Surender Solanki & Anay Mann on October 12 from 5pm to 7pm

Edson Dias and Amit Sharma on October 14 from 5pm to 6pm

The Exhibition will be open from 10am till 8 pm from October 10 – 15, 2014.

Started in 2003, the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC) is an autonomous, not-for-profit institution for creative learning in arts and communication. We are a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry. We offer one year diploma programmes in Photography, Audio Engineering and Music Production and Creative Documentary (filmmaking), in addition to courses in Advertising and Public Relations (IMC) and Digital Marketing Communication. We are fortunate to be positioned in the heart of South Delhi on a sprawling green campus and have an environment that is conducive for academic learning as well as artistic and intellectual stimulation.
