Two Watson Realty Corp. Brokers Achieve CRB Designation

ORLANDO, Fla. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Jeff Fagan, regional vice president, and Nancy Shear, vice president/managing broker at the Oviedo office, both recently earned Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation by the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers.

“This is a milestone designation. It means I have combined the experiences of hands-on management with practical application of skills learned in a classroom setting,” said Fagan. “I hope the designation and skills learned will make me a better broker for my company.”

Fagan spent three years working towards his CRB designation, which he describes as a personal investment in himself. The required coursework for the CRB designation includes courses on streamlining operating practices, understanding finances and other skills necessary to be a successful brokerage manager.

Shear spent two years pursuing the designation and believes the additional education will help her better serve and assist her agents. She describes her role as an “agents’ broker,” striving to be constantly available to her agents for support.

“I bring knowledge, experience and passion to help my agents become successful, creating a win-win situation for us both,” said Shear. “By understanding the needs of the agents and helping them provide outstanding services, we can together grow the success of our brand and market share.”

The CRB designation is designed to recognize real estate professionals who have the knowledge, skills and professionalism necessary to be successful brokerage managers.

A broker’s license isn’t required to achieve the designation, but the Realtor® must have at least one year of management experience.
