Runners: Check Your Heart Health with The Know Your Health Now Team

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Huntington Woods, Mich. – October 8, 2014 – Know Your Health Now (KYHN) (http://www.knowyourhealthnow.com/), provider of high quality health screening and diagnostic imaging exams such as ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and other testing services, will be running heart screenings in Booth #36 at the upcoming Detroit Free Press / Talmer Bank Health and Fitness Expo (http://www.freepmarathon.com/expo) on October 17, 2014 and October 18, 2014 at Cobo Center, Macomb Hall.

The KYHN team will offer specialized and private screenings during the Health and Fitness Expo. The KnowNow screenings (http://www.knowyourhealthnow.com/preventative) have the ability to detect issues earlier, when they’re easier to treat. Patients will have access to many screenings, including an Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) to check for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) potential; Carotid Duplex for stroke potential; and an Electrocardiogram (EKG) to detect atrial fibrillation. A special Health and Fitness Expo on-site heart screening package will be featured for only $69 and includes a cardiac ultrasound and an EKG.
