Suffolk Federal & Its Members Collect School Supplies to Benefit Children in Need

SMITHTOWN, N.Y. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- In support of Backpacks for Fellow Students, a nonprofit created by 13-year old Ariana DeMattei, Suffolk Federal and its members recently joined together to contribute much-needed school supplies to benefit children in underserved East End communities.

“We’re so thankful for the support of Suffolk Federal,” said DeMattei, Founder of BFFS. “Our goal is to create a level playing field no matter what the socio-economic status and maximize a child’s opportunity for educational success. The donation of these supplies will go a long way in helping us achieve this goal. I have learned that success depends on the power of many and I am grateful that Suffolk Federal has chosen to support me on this journey."
