NULYP Hosts "LEAD [YP]" Conference: Preparing the Next Generation of Leaders
New York, NY- October 1, 2014—The National Urban League Young Professionals in partnership with the Alabama Power Foundation, is pleased to present the “LEAD [YP]” Conference, January 15-18, 2015, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Center in Birmingham, Alabama. This 3-day leadership conference will equip today’s diverse Millennials and Gen-Xers from across the nation with training and tools to LEAD in their communities.
Orchestrated and planned by a group of premier professionals and leaders throughout the country, the “LEAD [YP]” Conference will focus on four tracks: Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Advocates, and Dreamers. Conference speakers will provide training on how to be a better leader in the workplace and additional training to elevate attendee’s careers. The National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) is a National Urban League (NUL) volunteer, member, auxiliary that targets professionals ages 21-40 to empower their communities and change lives through the Urban League Movement.
