ATLANTA - Oct. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Is it true that the blues never sleeps? We can definitely say that it never sleeps once a year in early October. In the heart of the historic downtown Helena, Arkansas is where thousands of blues lovers travel from all four corners of the country to attend the King Biscuit Blues Festival.

During the Columbus Day weekend there are blues artists performing soul-stirring music that drives most attendees to clapping and dancing. "The King Biscuit Blues Festival, is one of the nation’s foremost showcases of blues music." (King Biscuit Blues Festival, 2014) Anyone who knows and loves blues will be found attending this annual event that has embarked on its 29th year. This year there are  50 music acts performing.

One can trace the lineup of the extraordinary music performers who have graced the stages during this annual event over its 28 years to those, such as, Buddy Guy, Keb' Mo', Marcia Ball to Delbert McClinton. There are several hidden talents who have been discovered by the blues enthusiasts like Bobby Rush, The Billy Gibson Band, Veronika Jackson, to the Peterson Brothers.

You will find many of the hidden talents performing on the Delta Cultural Center's stage found in the heart of the King Biscuit Blues Festival on Cherry Street. As it states on their website: It is their mission to preserve, interpret and present the cultural heritage of their legendary 27-county region.

This year the Delta Cultural Center will video archive the 14 blues artists they have invited to grace their venue, the Front Porch Stage, during the King Biscuit Blues Festival with the help of iDefine TV.  Carla Robinson, Business Operation Personnel, "We have had some of the best blues artists perform on our stage each year during the King Biscuit Blues Festival. Many are getting up in age, it would be nice to have video footage of these legendary music artists."

Not only will iDefine TV film the music acts this year and produce the DVD that will be available at the Delta Cultural Center, but they will air several of the performances exclusively on their television network, found on Roku. As of today, iDefine TV has reached 59 countries and continues to grow.

iDefine TV morphed into a media firm that offers media production and media distribution/syndication, based in Atlanta, GA. They like to say, "We are the people, who help people get on television."

"We are honored to have been selected by the Delta Cultural Center to kick off a new tradition of capturing some of the greatest blues artists who will perform on their stage during the King Biscuit Blues Festival," says Content Coordinator, C.F. Jackson.

To answer the initial question: Is it true that the blues never sleeps? It doesn't have to this year after the King Biscuit Blues Festival. The attendees are invited to tune in on iDefine TV or grab a copy of the DVD set from the Delta Cultural Center once it becomes available. There are times when the blues is the only music that will do.
