How to Prioritize Your Goals In 3 Easy Steps:

EMERYVILLE, Calif. - Oct. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Go with the Flow: Everyone has goals, ambitions, and dreams. But it is important not to associate happiness with your personal goals. Ultimately, you want to be happy before you achieve your goals, while you are achieving them, and after. Try not to let your goals, and ambitions dictate your happiness and well-being because, if it’s meant to be, then it is meant to be, visa-versa. If for whatever reason, life happens and plans change, do not feel discouraged by the shift in events. Carry on, and discover new goals and ambitions that better suit you.

Find Balance: The first step towards creating balance would be to embrace and appreciate exactly where you are in life right now. How do we achieve this? By practicing positive ways of discipline on a daily basis, that aids in emotional and physical well-being. Such practices include:

Meditation: Dedicate in your daily routine at least an hour a day, 30 mins in the evenings, and 30 mins in the mornings to sit peacefully in utter silence and reflect on love and gratitude. If this sounds a bit unrealistic, because you may have kids, noisy dogs, or pets. Include them in the activity as well, and make it into a family exercise!

Visualisation: It is also important to visualise your goals, or where you see the direction of your life leading to. As you visualize yourself achieving your desired goals, create your own helpful step by step guide, and decide if there are any bad habits or unworthy individuals that may be distracting you, or preventing you from becoming steps closer to your dream. From which point, take the steps necessary  to eliminate any negativity.

Intention Setting: Is one of the founding principals of accomplishing any goal. It may even be considered the starting point of any dream. Every choice that a person makes starts with an intention to make that choice, whether or not you are considering the consequences or benefits that your choices may have depend on how close you may be towards reaching your dreams. To make it easier on yourself, take it day by day until daily intention setting becomes a daily habit. After all, our thoughts become our destiny.

Create your vision: In order for our visions and day dreams to matasisize themselves, there must be a series of accomplished goals along the way. However realizing the difference between “Means goals” and “End Goals” and prioritizing the importance of each categorized goal, can save energy, heartbreak, and frustration.  For instance, Means Goals are goals are the stepping stonesthat push you towards your dream, such as the good education, the good job, and the good money of course. But as humans, Means Goals are not what we truly desire, nor will Means Goals lead us down the path of happiness or peace, contrary Mean Goals will lead in the opposite direction. Now, End Goals are based on the vision that each of us have such as having a career that fulfills our passion, or even spending time exploring, traveling, and living life on your own terms, not based on the terms that society has set for us.

To some this may seem unrealistic to just drop the standards set before us, however both Means Goals and End Goals require the same guidelines to accomplish. It is all just a matter of which set of goals are more important to you, your family, and your growth.
