BOURNEMOUTH, U.K. - Oct. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- ETC International College has announced open enrolments for their FCE courses starting today. The module is available as a standard programme and designed as a full 12-week course. Throughout the duration of the course, students will be attending 20 lessons per week or 15 hours of studying English. Undergraduates with lower language proficiency can opt for the Intensive variant of the FCE. The intensive courses entail over 28 lessons (21 hours) per week and offer students the chance to undergo 8 additional lessons in General English.

ETC's module has the role of preparing students for the FCE exam. The FCE exam is an intermediate level Cambridge ESOL test and it addresses individuals with a B2 level of English proficiency. People taking this exam are those who are aware their English knowledge is suitable for higher education or jobs that require linguistic proficiency, including but not limited to business, medicine, engineering. The FCE exam is particularly useful for those interested in building a career in tourisms, as this niche entails constant contact with English speakers.

To perform well in any of the aforementioned cases, a student must have a vast vocabulary and should be able to use appropriate communication styles as required by the context. Learners interested in taking the FCE exam must be able to construct an argument and show they are aware of the conventions of politeness and degrees of formality, as they are expressed through the English language.

ETC International College is aware of the importance of optimum interaction between the student and his teacher or lecturer. The college's FCE courses are organized for small groups of only 14 students to facilitate and encourage this interaction. ETC may increase the number of students available for the FCE preparation lessons to 18, but only if the demand is very high. Take note that increasing the number of students in a group is typically done during the busy summer period, meaning during June, July and August.

In addition to the intensive courses, ETC International College can also downsize the number of students in a group to four. The courses addressing these small groups are recommended for learners who need to focus on certain projects and activities, and they are ideal for students who require a higher input.
