Nicaragua’s frozen seafood products will be promoted in Spain
Nicaragua will be showcasing its variety of frozen seafood products in the upcoming International Frozen Seafood Exhibition (CONXEMAR, for its acronym in Spanish), to be held in Vigo, Spain, on October 7-9, 2014.
Nicaragua will be participating in the sixteenth edition of the exhibition with a delegation of seven companies that include Nicalapia, Sahlman Seafoods, Coopescharly, Camanica, Central American Fisheries, Apemac and Nicafish. Altogether, these companies will present a variety of their products, such as frozen and prepared fish, shrimp and lobster.
Nicaragua’s delegation seeks to position its products internationally and learn about the latest trends of this sector in the European market, challenges and new techniques in the production process, and fair trade. Through a tasting at the country’s booth (E7) in the exhibition, the delegation looks to offer an opportunity to discover the quality of Nicaraguan seafood.
The country’s participation in this exhibition is part of the Competitiveness Strengthening Program for Nicaraguan Enterprises (http://www.pronicaragua.org/
