The classification as a 501(c)(3) allows contributions to Volunteer Society of America to be deductible for the giver. The award also allows bequests, devises, transfers and gifts to be received as tax deductible donations.

“Like a lot of organizations today, Volunteer Society of America started with four of us sitting at a table talking.” Says Founder and President, Aaron Sharpe, “That conversation lead to another and now some two years later VS of A is open, organized and ready to make a difference ”

The charitable goal of promoting volunteerism is accomplished with Education, Fulfillment and Finance.  We educate the public on the impact and importance of volunteerism, while providing fulfillment and financial support to volunteer based organizations whose goals are to help those who cannot help themselves.

“Volunteers change a community.” Mr. Sharpe continued “ The Corporation for National & Community Service says volunteering remains strong with 1 in 4 Americans volunteering.  We think that number should be much higher.  Just imagine what your community would be like if all able adults volunteered, even for just an hour.  We like to say ‘Make a difference every day with every one’ that is why we are here, this is what excites us every day, the ability to make a difference every day with everyone. “
